July 2020: In case anybody has asked what the contraption in the upper range area is, it is a trebuchet. The scouts have been working on a pioneering merit badge and as a group project, elected to build this. They collected the timbers from a property in North Berwick that is being cleared.  The entire structure is built by lashing the logs with rope. It will be disassembled next week to take to summer camp.
